As far as other series, from Dragon Ball and One Piece to Sailor Moon and Transformers, animation fans are definitely familiar with the studio. But by series end, few could deny that Toei had found their footing. Super had a rocky start, animation-wise often outsourcing sections of one or two episodes to a freelancer rather than consistently rotating work to other animation studios like they had from Dragon Ball to GT. ![]() ![]() With Dragon Ball Super, they relied on their in-house team, their Philippines Division, and a bevy of freelancer and foreign studios that honestly deserves its own exhaustive list. They've been the main studio to work on the franchise since GT. By 1990 Toei Animation had enough in-house to step up on their own during Dragon Ball Z, and took more of a lead role once Studio Junio closed. This mod by M-Warrior helps bolster the Dragon Ball Super representation in XV2 by introducing some new characters and several transformations not yet present in the game. ![]() But not all of them are available in Xenoverse 2. They've technically been with the series since the beginning, but due to low staff couldn't animate the series' first offering Dragon Ball, instead relying on and assisting with other animation studios. The Dragon Ball Super manga brought several new characters and transformations into Dragon Ball.
